Professor of Architecture and Community Development Claudia Bernasconi and Emerita Professor of Psychology Libby Balter Blume recently published two journal articles in December 2023.

The first article advanced theories on virtual community engagement in the metaverse, and was published in the International Journal of Architectural Research.

The second article explored core ontological questions, othering and transformative learning in engaged learning, and was published in the Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning.
