Health Humanities minor program offering curriculum innovation grants

Detroit Mercy’s Health Humanities Minor Program is offering Curriculum Innovation Grants of $1,750 to faculty in support of the development of new or revised courses that will expand its curricular offerings.

The Health Humanities is an interdisciplinary field that explores the intersection of the human condition and health, illness, and healing. The minor is being developed by the College of Liberal Arts & Education with the support of a Titan Innovation Fund Grant and in collaboration with the College of Engineering & Science and the College of Health Professions.

Initial course proposals are due March 25. Grant awards will be announced April 8 and full course materials will be due June 10.

Curriculum Innovation Grants are open to all full-time UDM faculty and lecturers who have continuing appointments and course development responsibilities.
