November is National Career Development month

Students are invited to join the Center for Career & Professional Development (CCPD) and the National Career Development Association as we celebrate National Career Development month! This year’s theme is Creating My Career Path: Embracing Change in My Journey.

CCPD encourages students to explore their futures and embrace the changes that will come. There will be several events offered throughout the month of November that will assist students in taking ownership of their career development, set career goals and learn about new opportunities.

Join us at one or more of the following events to celebrate National Career Development month:

  • Practice Interviews with Professional Recruiters, Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Reno Hall, Room 143
  • Beyond the Degree – Criminal Justice, Thursday, Nov. 7 at 12:45-1:30 p.m., Commerce and Finance Building, Room 209
  • Job Search Tips for International Students, Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 1-2 p.m., Engineering Building, Room 134
  • Closing the Deal: Researching and Negotiating Salary and Benefits, Tuesday, Nov. 19, Student Union, Room 201
  • Drop-in Career Boost, Nov. 6, 11 and 13 from 1-2 p.m., Reno Hall, Room 143
