McAuley School of Nursing Professor Andrea Kwasky was elected president-elect of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the largest professional organization representing psychiatric-mental health nurses in the United States.

Kwasky will go on to serve as APNA president, bringing more than two decades of experience in psychiatric-mental health nursing, education and mental health advocacy to the role.
