In honor of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, the Detroit Mercy Dental Office of Diversity and Inclusion will host an AAPI Culture Hour on Thursday, May 20 at 7 p.m. There will be a virtual conversation on community care and individual accountability featuring Rachel Koelzer, a Korean-American adoptee, abolitionist, activist, speaker and writer. Koelzer studies human development, trauma and trauma recover as well as how these understandings can (and do) integrate with issues of social justice.
