Additional Community Engaged Learning proposal workshop set for Oct. 8

Community Engaged Learning (CEL), which combines coursework with the application of institutional resources to address community needs and challenges, has been building momentum, but to move forward we want to engage all interested faculty to hear how you envision incorporating the new understanding of community engagement in your courses.

As it’s a collaborative process, CEL is offering proposal workshops. The first workshop took place during Colleague Development Days. A second CEL workshop is now being offered for those who missed the first session and is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 12-1:30 p.m. in the Health Professions Facility, Room 124. Lunch will be provided for all.

If interested in attending the workshop, please contact Director of Community Engaged Learning Tim Hipskind at hipskijt@udmercy.edu.
