Business student pitch competition with cash stipends and scholarship awards

The Michigan Colleges Alliance (MCA) is once again hosting the Campus Community Challenge. This challenge pairs student teams with community non-profit organizations to solve community challenges in innovative ways.

Teams of up to four students (recommended), led by a faculty adviser, will:

  • Complete seven design thinking sprints facilitated by the Henry Ford Learning Institute.
  • Will be paired with a community partner.
  • Pitch their idea to a panel of judges.
  • Be eligible to earn up to $10,000 in scholarships per team.
  • Earn stipends for successful completion of the program.

This opportunity is open to all Detroit Mercy students. Last year, two Detroit Mercy teams earned a combined total of $12,000 through the competition and are continuing on to the Ford Motor Company Fund national competition.

The deadline is Friday, Oct. 21.
