Call for Nominations: Mission Leadership Awards

Calling all nominations for the Mission Leadership Awards: the Vivere ex Missione and the Agere ex Missione.

The nomination deadline for all awards is no later than 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 4.

The Vivere ex Missione Award (“to live out the mission”) is an annual award presented to graduating students who best exemplify the mission of University of Detroit Mercy. An undergraduate and graduate student are selected from the McNichols Campus and one student each from the Riverfront and Corktown Campuses. This award is presented at their respective Commencement ceremony.

The Agere ex Missione Award (“to do the mission”) is presented annually to three individuals employed at the University: a faculty member, a staff member and an administrator who exemplify the mission of University of Detroit Mercy. This award is presented at the President’s Convocation, which is scheduled for Aug. 16, 2022.

The awardees are selected from open source nominations. The awards are intended to call attention to exceptional persons who demonstrate competence at a high level of excellence while also witnessing to the University’s soul by the larger commitments evident in their lives.
