Alumnus’ research in ‘Science’ highlights new plastic material

As humans work toward a more sustainable future on Earth, imagine having one material that can act like many of the plastics used in daily life. Now consider those same principles being used in outer space, where resources and capacity are precious commodities. Thanks to research by Nicholas Boynton ’19, these concepts may one day become a reality. 

Poland remembered: Christmas paintings on display in McNichols Library

To celebrate the Advent and Christmas seasons, the McNichols Campus Library is exhibiting four oil paintings by Detroit artist Helen Klisz Dudzinski (1910-2003). These Christmas-themed paintings depict holiday traditions as Dudzinski remembered them as a young girl in post-World War I Poland, at the time of a newly independent Poland during the Second Polish Republic.
