Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching designates UDM as Research University
The University has been named a Research University by the American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. Detroit Mercy is among just 216 other institutions nationwide and the designation will help attract more students, highly qualified faculty and research grants in the coming years.
