CCPD to host several career development opportunities in November

November is National Career Development Month!

Detroit Mercy’s Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) will host a series of events that will help guide students and alumni through their professional development and examine ways to foster wellness on the path to career success. These sessions include:

  • Paving Paths to Experience — Tuesday, Nov. 7
  • Practice Interviews with professional recruiters — Friday, Nov. 10
  • Dream Big: Career Vision Board Workshop — Monday, Nov. 13
  • Navigating the Evolving Landscape of Work in 2024 — Tuesday, Nov. 14
  • Salary and Benefit Negotiations — Tuesday, Nov. 28

All majors are invited to participate in these sessions. Students are encourage to pre-register using their Handshake accounts.

Sponsored by the National Career Development Association, the month helps provide an opportunity to support and increase awareness of career education to support and increase awareness of career education, exploration and development as a lifelong learning process.
