University of Detroit Mercy honored veterans from our community with a pinning ceremony in the Student Union Ballroom on Monday, Nov. 12. Sponsored by the Office of Student Life and the Student Programming Board, the ceremony gave each veteran a chance to share part of his or her story.
It was attended by groups from the Vietnam Veterans of America (Detroit) Chapter 9, Michigan Veterans Foundation and Detroit VA Medical Center, along with students from Detroit Mercy and Gesu Catholic School. See the Veteran’s Day photo gallery online.
