University of Detroit Mercy was first in average minutes moved in the midwest after the final results of the 2023 Go Move Challenge were released following the conclusion of February.
Detroit Mercy had 83 employees participate in the Go Move Challenge in 2023, completing 99,992 total minutes moved to place fifth overall among AJCU institutions in average minutes per participant and first in the Midwest.
The Titans averaged 1,168 minutes per participant, which was 33 average minutes better than Xavier in the Midwest region. Saint Peter’s placed first with 1,545 average minutes and Santa Clara had the most total minutes at 589,072 minutes.
The winning department at UDM with the most minutes moved was College of Engineering & Science! The college average 2,043 minutes per participant, with the College of Liberal Arts & Education (2,002 avg. minutes), Advancement (1,930 avg. minutes), School of Architecture & Community Development (1,910 avg. minutes) and Libraries (1,623 avg. minutes) rounding out the top five.
