A team from the College of Engineering & Science made a strong showing at the DTE/ESD Michigan Energy Efficiency Conference and Exhibition on Tuesday, May 9, where they presented their project for the DTE E-challenge 5.

The team, which included Dr. Shadi Banitaan, Dr. Mina Maleki, Dr. Nassif Rayess, and two graduate students, Bassam Abdelghani and David Beacom, collaborated on a project entitled “Predictive Occupancy-based HVAC Controls.”
