Detroit Mercy English faculty members Isaac Pickell and Stacy Gnall will be performing poetry at Literati Bookstore in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m.
The reading is being held to celebrate Pickell’s new collection of poetry, “It’s Not Over Once You Figure It Out,” which focuses on various experiences of race in America. In addition to Pickell and Gnall, the event will feature two other poets with local ties, Robert Laidler and Jason B. Crawford.
