Detroit Mercy’s Center for Practice & Research in Management & Ethics (PRIME Center) will host Paul Polman, former CEO of Unilever and a global leader in sustainable and purpose-driven business, for a talk titled The Case for Net Positive Leadership. This event will take place on Friday, March 27, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Student Union Ballroom.
Polman is the co‑author of Net Positive: How Courageous Companies Thrive by Giving More Than They Take and is ranked the No. 1 business thought leader in the world by Thinkers50. Described by the Financial Times as “a standout CEO of the past decade,” he has also been vice chair of the UN Global Compact, global commissioner of the World Resources Institute and a member of the advisory group to the World Trade Organization, among other accomplishments.
