Titan students, staff, alumni and fans, along with the community, are welcomed to get a first-look at the Detroit Mercy men’s and women’s basketball squads with Hoop Night in the D from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at Calihan Hall.
Join in on the fun with music, a skills competition, live scrimmage, team introductions and more! The event, which helps kick-off 2022 Homecoming on the McNichols Campus, is followed by the Titan Tailgate from 7:30-9:30 p.m. just outside of Calihan Hall, with all students and fans welcome.
Titan fans will get a glimpse of new faces for both programs, with many new student-athletes joining Titan men’s basketball all-time leading scorer Antoine Davis for the upcoming season. New head coach Kate Achter enters her first year as the leader of Detroit Mercy women’s basketball, with several new staff members and Titans.
If you are a basketball fan, you will not want to miss Hoop Night in the D!
