The College of Engineering & Science is celebrating Undergraduate Research Week (URW) on April 11 and April 13! This celebration of undergraduate scholarship will take place with a variety of professional development events on the McNichols Campus.

On Tuesday, April 11 from 10:30-11:30 a.m., take part in a career breakfast panel in the Chemistry Building lobby to learn from a research faculty, a private practice D.D.S,, an M.D. and a medical group practice director about their careers. Breakfast will be provided. Sign-up here.

Following this discussion, the keynote speaker, Dr. Lauren Albrecht, will give a talk on “Methylation emerges as the global integrator of molecular signaling and dietary metabolism in cancer” at 12:45 p.m. in Ford Life Sciences, Room 115. It’ll be followed by a short talk from 2023’s Undergraduate Research Excellence awardee!

On Thursday, April 13 from 12:45-2 p.m., stop by the Engineering Building’s High Bay to hear about the fantastic research being done by undergraduate students in the College of Engineering & Science! Students will be giving power presentations and 2-minutes lightning talks about the work they are doing in research labs and research-based classes.
