Detroit Mercy faculty are needed to participate in a skit on college classroom etiquette, which will be performed during the Prologues, Transitions and Viewpoints (PTV) orientation program Aug. 24-25.
The short skit, acted out by faculty for incoming freshmen, illustrates what not to do to be successful in college, including not doing homework and coming late to class.
The skit will be performed once per day on Wednesday, Aug. 24 and Thursday, Aug. 25 beginning at 2 p.m. Each skit would last nearly 30 minutes, with 15 minutes dedicated to discussing classroom etiquette with the freshmen. Faculty are asked to gather for nearly 30 minutes before the scheduled time to choose roles for the skit.
If you are interested in participating in these helpful skits, please contact Professor of Chemistry Mary Lou Caspers at casperml@udmercy.edu.
