Four-week powerlifting class starts March 27

Ready to build strength and test your limits? Our four-week powerlifting class begins Thursday, March 27, at 6-7 p.m. in Calihan Hall and will continue each Thursday thereafter. No need to be an elite lifter—this class is for anyone looking to get stronger and improve their technique.

The class will focus on the three main powerlifting exercises:

  • Bench Press – Build upper body strength and control
  • Deadlift – Master proper form for pulling power
  • Squat – Develop lower body strength and stability

For the first three weeks, you’ll learn the fundamentals and proper technique for each lift with expert guidance from our Titan strength and conditioning coach from the Athletic Department. In week four, on April 17, put your strength to the test in a friendly competition to crown the strongest Titan on campus. Come ready to lift, learn and compete!
