Free fitness classes from URec now available

Free fitness classes from URec now available

University Recreation is now offering free fall fitness classes for all! The classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 12.

The fitness schedule for the fall semester:

  • Yoga — Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-7 p.m., Group Ex Room of Student Fitness Center; A program designed for participants of all experience levels. Different styles of yoga such as Hatha Yoga foundations, Ashtanga Yoga Flow, Power Yoga Intensity, Restorative and mindfulness Yoga, Holistic Integration and Reflection. Instructed by: Airik Sanders
  • Fitness 101 — Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m. on the Student Fitness Center floor; Low-to-moderate intensity, beginner-level fitness class. Instructed by: Barraka Baber
  • Fitness 202 — Thursdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m. on the Student Fitness Center floor; Mid-to-high intensity, mid-level fitness class. Instructed by: Barraka Baber
