Detroit Mercy’s Creative Writing Collective will meet online for a special conversation in advance of Paisley Rekdal’s Triptych reading on Thursday, Feb. 16. The CWC will meet at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom ahead of the 6:30 p.m. reading.
Detroit Mercy students, staff, alumni, faculty and friends are welcome. No writing experience is necessary — just an interest in exploring and developing your creative inclinations.
The three dates for the winter/spring in 2023:
- Thursday, Feb. 16 (5:30-6:30 p.m., Zoom) — Led by Associate Professor of English Rosemary Weatherston in advance of Paisley Rekdal’s Triptych reading.
- Monday, March 20 (5:30-7 p.m., Briggs Building, Room 205) — Led by Poet-in-Residence Stacy Gnall and Michael Lauchlan, both adjunct professors.
- Wednesday, April 12 (5-6:30 p.m., Briggs Building, Room 205) — Led by Senior Lecturer Amanda Hiber.
