Let’s Talk About It: Consent 101 on Oct. 17

Consent impacts many of our daily interactions, with family, friends, peers and even strangers, but it is not talked about as often as it impacts our lives.

Join HAVEN, Oakland County’s program for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, for an interactive presentation, “Let’s Talk About It: Consent 101” at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17 in the Chemistry Building, room 114.

The presentation is designed to unpack the messages we have received about consent and to explore practical strategies that can be used to practice ethical and affirmative consent in your relationships.

The event is being co-sponsored by Not My Fault and the Office of Title IX at Detroit Mercy.
