The Detroit Mercy English Department is hosting Matthew Olzmann for a virtual poetry reading and discussion on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m.
Olzmann has written two collections of poems, Mezzanines and Contradictions in the Design, and has received fellowships from the Kundiman Retreat for Asian American Writers, the Kresge Foundation and Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. The Detroit native teaches at Dartmouth College.
The virtual poetry reading and discussion is free and open to the public. Those who are interested must register in advance.
