Do you have a creative idea for how to fight hunger or food waste in our community? Apply for a bite-size grant from Campus Kitchen to launch your new idea by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26.
Campus Kitchen at Detroit Mercy is looking to launch a new, collaborative, student-led program that supports food justice in Detroit. A $500 grant will be awarded to the best pitch for next year’s project.
Possible focus areas include food waste reduction on campus, supporting community gardens or improving food security in nearby neighborhoods. All applicants who meet submission requirements will receive an Emerging Leaders Program credit of +1 Leadership Development.
