ReBUILDetroit announces three Learning Communities for UDM

Graphic showing invitation to join learning communities, which are based on seven criteria: 6-12 members, interdisciplinary, meet 30 hours per year, budget for expenses, consider affiliated members for special or limited contributions, make time to socialize and share a meal, and ideally membership should include a mix of staff, admin and facultyReBUILDetroit has formed three Learning Communities to engage faculty and staff in exploring ideas about the following topics:

  • Inclusive Teaching
  • Identity and Identity Formation of Minoritized Groups (in Higher Education)
  • Science, Technology and Race

If you want to learn more about these topics in relation to building community, curriculum implementation, enhancing your pedagogical practice, book study or rich discussion and examination, then consider joining a learning community group. Groups are open to all disciplines and departments!
