The School of Architecture & Community Development (SACD) is set to help host a Noir Design Parti exhibition and panel, with the discussion taking place virtually over Zoom on Thursday, Nov. 18 from 6-7:30 p.m.
The panel discussion features Noir Design Parti leaders and the architect and owner teams of three properties on McNichols Road, talking about their design process and Detroit’s design legacy.
The Noir Design Parti exhibits document the career and creative works of Detroit’s African American architects.
The exhibit may be visited outdoors through the end of November on McNichols Road at Prairie Street, or indoors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursdays at the Live6 Alliance’s HomeBase, located at 7426 W. McNichols Road, just a few blocks west of the McNichols Campus.
