Detroit Mercy Grad Salute launches on Thursday, March 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Union Fountain Lounge with a plethora of information and resources for all graduating Titans. No RSVP is needed. Stop by and gear up for the McNichols Campus Commencement on Saturday, May 9.
Social media photo booth – #DetroitMercy2020
Grad Salute will host a photo station with props and signs ready to celebrate your Detroit Mercy accomplishments. Write a message on a prop to thank your family, instructors, advisors or best friend and strike a pose. These photos will be displayed in Calihan Hall prior to the Commencement ceremony for family and friends to see while they are wait for the program to begin. Additionally, any photos tagged #DetroitMercy2020 on socials between now and May 9 will also be on display at Commencement.
Alumni Relations and Senior Class Gift giveaways
Spin the wheel and win alumni branded prizes including wine glasses, license plate holders, travel mugs, business card holders, notepads, playing cards and limited-edition Detroit Mercy Detroit Tigers baseball caps. All seniors who sign up for the alumni website Forever Titans are entered to win a special Detroit Mercy diploma frame.
Pre-ceremony cap and gown photos
Grad Images, the official Commencement photographer, will be on campus to a picture of any senior in a provided cap and gown. Alternatively, dress up and take a professional head shot for your LinkedIn profile. Either way, it’s free!
Class rings
Herff-Jones will be available to assist all seniors in ordering graduation announcements and class rings.
