Detroit Mercy’s Department of Athletics will host a special luncheon, set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 prior to UDM’s 7 p.m. game against Green Bay.

Those in attendance will have a chance to listen to head coach Kate Achter talk about her Titans squad prior to the contest against the Phoenix at Calihan Hall.

All faculty and staff are invited free of charge as part of Staff Appreciation Day, which includes a free ticket to the game. All season ticket holders can attend the luncheon for free, while anyone else can attend for $5 per person, which includes admission into the game.

Currently, Detroit Mercy and Green Bay are two of the top-three teams in the Horizon League women’s basketball standings. The Titans are 11-5 overall and 4-1 in the league standings entering Wednesday’s contest with Cleveland State.
