Join the College of Engineering & Science for a professional development session with Claude Steele, author of Whistling Vivaldi, on Tuesday, April 13 at 12:45 p.m. In the session, participants will:
- Understand what stereotype threat and identity threat are and how they impact student learning.
- Comprehend the definition of diverse learning communities.
- Recognize why diverse learning communities are especially important for minoritized students and women in STEM.
- Gain tools to achieve a diverse learning community.
