The Detroit Mercy English Department is hosting Tarfia Faizullah for a virtual poetry reading and discussion on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m.
Faizullah is the author of two poetry collections, Registers of Illuminated Villages and Seam, and presents work worldwide. A recipient of a Fulbright fellowship and three Pushcart Prizes, her writing has appeared in several publications, including Poetry Magazine and the Academy of American Poets.
The virtual poetry reading and discussion is free and open to the public. Those who are interested must register in advance.
