The Titan Equity Nourish Network (TENN) is hosting its annual Food Fest fundraiser throughout March, with a kick-off event opening the fundraiser on Tuesday, March 1. TENN hosts the fundraiser each year to celebrate food culture at Detroit Mercy.
Remaining recipe kits available from the March 1 kick-off event, sponsored by Alliance Catholic Credit Union, are available for discounted purchase on March 2 and 3. Recipe kits for Seafood Gumbo, Puff Puff, Peach Dump Cake, French Toast and Dalgona include a bag of ingredients and recipes were written by a Detroit Mercy student or student organization. Each recipe corresponds with a live zoom session or recorded video.
TENN will also host a series of ticketed cooking classes with local chefs and artisans in the second half of March, including topics such as Vegan Cheat Day and St. Patrick’s Day Feast.

All Food Fest events correspond with a crowdfunding campaign which supports TENN’s produce delivery program. This program builds meaningful relationships between Detroit Mercy students and their neighbors, and provides fresh food to more than 80 Detroiters each week.
