Detroit Mercy staff, faculty and administration are invited to a two-part series on Discernment in Daily Life, that Associate Professor of Religious Studies Patrick Kelly, S.J. will be offering.
The series will take place at Manresa Jesuit Retreat House, in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., on Tuesday, Oct. 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 22 from 7-8:30 p.m.
There are options for participation in-person, through live stream or by video for those who register. The $40 registration fee will be picked up by the Office of Mission Integration.
The series will call those participating to understand the deeper meaning of their experiences in daily life. One of Ignatius of Loyola’s greatest gifts to followers of Christ is his teaching on discernment and decision making, which he developed, in part, from reflecting on his life experiences.
To register, please email Fr. Kelly at kellypm@udmercy.edu with the subject heading “Manresa Registration.”
