Detroit Mercy’s Student Success Center has announced a new online appointment system for undergraduate students called TutorTrac. Using the new system, students can schedule an appointment with a tutor or peer mentor.
This new appointment system is packed with great features that you can use on your computer or phone.
Here are a few step-by-step instructions on how to schedule an appointment using TutorTrac:
- Log into your MyPortal account.
- From the homepage of your account, locate the heading ‘Academic and Career Resources.’ In that category, you will find ‘TutorTrac’ and click on the link.
- On the TutorTrac dashboard, locate ‘Schedule an appointment in the SSC.’ Click on the drop box and you will see a list of your current courses. Select the course that you need tutoring for and then click search.
- In the next window, choose the date that you want to meet with the tutor/peer mentor and then click search.
- The next window will display all of the available appointments for that day. The appointment time is in the upper-left corner of the green box; the tutor/peer mentor is located in the upper-right hand corner of the box. Choose a time and then click the box (if the times do not work for a particular day, you can expand the available times on that screen).
- In the new window, you must confirm your appointment. Make sure to read the page before confirming the appointment. One you click confirm, you will receive a confirmation email and the appointment will populate in your Outlook calendar.
Your appointment will also populate on your TutorTrac dashboard. If you need to cancel an appointment, find the appointment on the dashboard and then click the ‘X’ that is located in the upper right-hand corner. You will also receive a confirmation email upon your cancellation.
If you experience any technical issues during the process, please email ssc@udmercy.edu.
