Living Faith Out Loud, Oct. 24

LGBTQ+ community support with faith in God.

Listen to three powerful talks by a faculty member, a student and a Jesuit as they share experiences as persons, friends or allies of the LGBTQ+ community while reflecting on how their faith in God is in conversation with their advocacy, love and compassion for the LGBTQ+ community. This event will be on Thursday, Oct. 24 at during dead hour (12:45 p.m. in the Genevieve Fisk Loranger Architecture Center of the Warren Loranger Architecture Building.

Speakers currently include Assistant Professor of Nursing Traci Stewart and Detroit Mercy Theatre Company Outreach & Audience Development Coordinator Damian Torres-Botello, S.J.

This event is supported by the College of Health Professions, McAuley School of Nursing, Department of Performing Arts, Department of Social Work, the Jesuit Community, Office of Mission Integration, Office of Title IX, University Ministry, Wellness Center and Women’s and Gender Studies. Ask your professor if attending could count as extra credit; food will be provided.
