The next virtual women’s prayer group will be on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. on Microsoft Teams. If you are interested in participated, email your name to Alexis Burgess at burgesam@udmercy.edu. The guest speaker will be College of Health Professions Associate Dean Nutrena Tate. Tate’s research focuses on eliminating health inequities in childhood obesity in populations of color as well as health disparities research in general. Tate has served within various roles for non profit and professional organizations. Additionally, she has received several national, regional and local awards for her exemplary service and leadership within practice, teaching and community settings.
The group welcomes women from all three campuses and from all faiths to gather together. Leave your “office” for an hour for stress-free connections with friends, co-workers and supervisors.
