College of Engineering & Science highlights student research during annual symposium

University of Detroit Mercy’s College of Engineering & Science will highlight research performed by undergraduate and graduate students during its eighth annual symposium, Nov. 19 from 12 to 3 p.m.

The College of Engineering & Science will showcase nearly 50 research and design posters during the virtual event that highlight projects Detroit Mercy students have been working on over the past year. High school students will vote for three posters to receive the people’s choice award.

The symposium features several other activities including a tour of Biology and Chemistry laboratories, the opportunity to interact with a student panel and the Office of Admissions, a Robotics demonstration and an award ceremony.
