The Women’s and Gender Studies (WGS) program invites submissions to its annual Undergraduate Writing Competition. Detroit Mercy students may submit work exploring issues of gender, sexuality and/or feminist thought in up to two of the following three categories:
- Poetry
- Academic Essay
- Short Fiction/Personal Essay
A total of $500 in prizes will be awarded. Submissions are due by Monday, March 15. For questions, contact Senior English Lecturer Amanda Hiber at hiberja@udmercy.edu.
