Chartered Financial Analysts Webinar, March 18

Chartered Financial Analysts Webinar, March 18

The College of Business Administration’s Charlton Center for Responsible Investing, in partnership with the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Society of Detroit, presents an informational outreach webinar for finance, accounting, economics and business students on Thursday, March 18 at 1 p.m. The CFA charter is a professional designation known as the “gold standard” in the investment industry. CFA charter holders earn the right to use the CFA designation after program completion, application and acceptance by CFA Institute. CFA charter holders are qualified to work in senior and executive positions in investment management, risk management and asset management.

Students are invited to join a virtual panel of experts to discuss:

  • current career paths
  • CFA designation impact
  • CFA designation criteria
  • top careers and employers for charter holders
  • how the charter complements undergraduate/graduate degrees
  • benefits of membership in a professional organization like The
    CFA Society of Detroit.
