Detroit Mercy employees are encouraged to partner with creative and passionate students in designing service-learning projects through Ford Community Corps Partnerships (FCCP) grants. FCCP grants provide funds to support student-faculty teams and allocate money to the project itself or to pay students to coordinate initiatives. Some past projects include:
- A chemistry student providing STEM-based presentations to an afterschool program
- A business writing student creating Canva design templates to help a non-profit organization enhance social media presence
