Dialogue on civility, justice and race, April 7

The Department of Political Science and Office for Mission Integration invite all University community members to a discussion on civility, justice and race on Wednesday, April 7 at 12:45 to 2 p.m. The conversation will focus on Assistant Professor of Political Science and Director of African American Studies Alex Zamalin‘s book, Against Civility: The Hidden Racism in Our Obsession With Civility, as well as Pope Francis’ call to dialogue for justice. Zamalin will offer an overview of his book and its thesis and Assistant to the President for Mission Integration Catherine Punsalan-Manlimos will recapitulate Pope Francis’s call to dialogue.
