Thank you to all of the Detroit Mercy student organizations, departments, employees and campus community that helped contribute to another successful safe Halloween event on the McNichols Campus. Members of the University community passed out candy to trick-or-treaters through a contact-less drive-thru experience on a rainy evening, Friday, Oct. 29 ahead of Halloween.

Overall, more than 400 pounds of candy and treats were donated to the Student Life Office and more than 120 families received candy bags during at the curbside event. Congratulations to the College of Health Professions and McAuley School of Nursing for donating 72 pounds of candy to earn Safety Street-branded T-shirts.

The success of this event would not be possible without the support of the entire campus community.
