It’s time to put your best chili recipe together and gather your team for the Titan Winter Blast!
Alumni Relations is looking for 8-10 chili chef duos, with each group consisting of one student and one alumnus affiliated through a currently existing student organization.
Teams are to be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis and must include the name of an alumnus and a student in order to be confirmed. All teams will be set by the end of December.
Each team will be supplied with a $50 VISA gift card to contribute towards the expenses of chili, two Detroit Mercy branded aprons, tasting cups and spoons, a burner for the chili, utensils as well as free admission for up to 10 guests of your choosing (including chefs).
The Chili Cook-off is slated for Saturday, Feb. 26 at the Fitness Center prior to the Detroit Mercy men’s basketball game against Purdue Fort Wayne.
