The Detroit Mercy Writing Center will host an APA workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m.
Students will be introduced to the APA documentation style (sixth edition), including how to quote and summarize from an original source. Lauren Rinke, director of the Writing Center, will lead students in this hands-on workshop in reviewing examples and formatting citations/references for their own work.
Topics include citing within the text, using signal phrases, creating the references page and documenting online sources.
