Detroit Mercy men’s basketball senior Antoine Davis was named the Horizon League Co-Player of the Year on Monday.
Davis also became the first player in Horizon League history to be voted First Team All-League for the fourth time. He’s earned the accolade in each of his fourth seasons with the Titans.
Davis, who was voted the preseason player of the year in the Horizon League, earned the player of the year honor along with Oakland’s Jamal Cain. He led the conference in points per game (23.7) for the fourth consecutive season.
The No. 6 seed Titans open the Horizon League Championship on Tuesday, hosting 11th-seeded Green Bay from Calihan Hall at 7 p.m.
