Detroit Metropolitan Airport terminal re-named after alumnus

Next time you’re at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, you’ll notice that the North Terminal has been renamed the Warren Cleage Evans Terminal.

Evans, a longtime public servant, is a 1987 graduate of Detroit Mercy and the current Wayne County Executive.

Two people stand in front of elevators inside of the North Terminal at Detroit Metro Airport. A large sign above reads 'Wayne County Airport Authority, Warren Cleage Evans Terminal.' Warren Cleage Evans stands next to a plaque of him that also bears his name and image.
