Alexandra Hichel, director of recruitment and communications for the College of Liberal Arts & Education, received the IABC IED Chair award, a top international award from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). The award was announced during the IABC world conference, held in June, in New York.

Hichel earned the award for her work in organizing a shared interest group for students and early career professionals as a value-added experience for IABC members.
