Participate in Titan Slam Monologue Competition, win up to $500

Detroit Mercy’s Department of Performing Arts and the Detroit Mercy Theatre Company invites all students and alumni for the third annual Titan Slam Monologue Competition.

Prepare a monologue or song cut, up to 90 seconds in length, fitting the Titan Slam theme “BELIEVE.”

$2,000 in cash prizes are available to the top performers in two categories.

All students and alumni must perform in the preliminary round on Friday, Sept. 30 in Room 113 of the Life Science Building on the McNichols Campus.

Registration for audition time slots is now available and ends on Friday, Sept. 23.

The finals of the Titan Slam are set for Saturday, Oct. 1 at 3:30 p.m. prior to a free improv show, featuring Jaime Moyer ’01, Marc Evan Jackson and Nancy Hayden on the McNichols Campus.
