Office of Mission Integration begins monthly liturgies

Detroit Mercy’s Office of Mission Integration begins its monthly liturgies on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 12:45 p.m. inside of the St. Ignatius Chapel on the McNichols Campus.

This liturgy will be part of Founders Week at the University, which is fitting given that Sept. 27 is the date that the Jesuits were founded in 1540.

Fr. Gilbert Sunghera, S.J., will preside and preach. There will be a pizza lunch following afterwards in Room 233 of the Commerce & Finance Building.

At each monthly liturgy, colleagues will have an opportunity to reflect around a theme central to the University’s Jesuit-Mercy educational mission. Persons of all religious backgrounds or who are not affiliated with a religious tradition are encouraged and welcome to attend.

Interested attendees are asked to please RSVP to fichtere@udmercy.edu with “OMI Liturgy/Lunch” in the subject line.
