Celebrate National Library Workers Day with free cake, April 25

Usher in National Library Workers Day, as well as the start of finals week, with free cake inside of the McNichols Campus Library from 12-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 25.

To celebrate all that the library does throughout the school year and beyond, grab a friend or classmate and stop by the library to have a slice and leave a message sharing what you love about the library or how the library has benefitted your Detroit Mercy experience.

The McNichols Campus Library welcomes more than 1,000 students, faculty and staff through its doors nearly every day. Whether it’s to get research help, check out a book or anatomy model, place an item on course reserve, stop for coffee and a title recommendation, or participate in a student group-sponsored back sale or event, the library is a busy place!

And then there is the online library, with folks having access to the Library’s electronic resources and services, including eBooks, eJournals, streaming videos, interlibrary loan services, Ask-A-Librarian chat and reference email 24 hours a day, seven days a week!
